Klog - MyLogBook
Klog stands for canoe log and is a digital logbook for recording, storing and displaying canoe tours. The log entries can be managed either via a mobile app or in the web browser. There are a few key differences to note:
Smartphone-App
- Input via a form
- Photos can be taken directly with the mobile phone.
- The weather data is determined and added to the location.
- All data is stored on the Snowlion.at server.
- The data is presented in an overview and in a detailed view with a photo.
- The entries cannot be searched, filtered or sorted.
- The entries cannot be edited.
Web Browser
- Input via a form
- Photos can be uploaded from a folder.
- Weather data is not determined automatically.
- All data is stored on the Snowlion.at server.
- The data is presented in a list view and detail view without a photo.
- Entries can be searched, filtered and sorted.
- The entries can be edited.
Since the data is stored centrally on the Snowlion.at server, all entries can be managed both with the smartphone app and with the web browser. It is therefore recommended that the entries are created with a mobile phone. This automatically records the weather data for the respective location and a photo can be added quickly and easily.
Subsequent editing of the log entries is currently only possible via the web browser.
